Greetings from the Atheist Alliance we are a group of Atheists who think that the world would be a better place without religion so we protest religion. The Atheist Alliance was formed March 24, 2000 by its founders Bill G Durocher and Ray Brand. Honourable mentions for the making of the Atheist Alliance go to Devin J. Hutchinson and Criss Howte. These people have helped alot and I think they deserve credit. What is an Atheist? An Atheist is someone that does not believe in a God or a religion. That how we got our name. Before the Atheist alliance was created, Atheists had no way to protest religion and express their oppinions of it. Now that we have the Atheist Alliance you are free to express your oppinions on our message board and at meetings that have not been scheduled as of yet. We are also going to have a series of organised protests. | |||||||||||||||||||

To all Atheists in the alliance, we will be deciding on a symbol for the alliance shortly. If you have any ideas please e-mail them to us and I will present them to the others. As soon as we get a symbol we will be making T- shirts for the Alliance. We will also soon be getting armbands. If anyone has sugestions on these be sure to e-mail us. Atheist I was born an atheist And I will die an atheist I don't understand How people can stand Believing in a god Its like they're in a pod Cut off from the truth So that's why I spoof In what you believe You so rarely achieve Anything helpful I'm very doughtfull Why a religion That's why I keep fidgin How does it help What I've felt All the gore And you crave more Why do you fight When you're not even right You're kind has made war And what was it for For you to prove that you are right And you still keep up the fight When will you accept Your terrible debt When you stop believing And accept this felling The world will unite There will be no fight When you accept your fate There will be no hate You can live your own life Not like one that is strife One day we will all agree That religion is not for me By William Gregory Durocher | |||||||||||||||||||
